Xiao Technology Awards HD/SDI Switcher Design Contract to Sensoray

Shanghai, China (PRWEB) October 8, 2008 -- China based video technology leader Xiao Technology announced today an agreement with Portland, Oregon, based frame grabber (http://www.sensoray.com/products/frame_grabber.htm) manufacturer Sensoray to develop an HD/SDI Switcher for their video distribution projects. Under the terms of the agreement, Sensoray will design and manufacture 100 4X4 HD/SDI Switchers for Xiao Technology. After approval of the initial 100 Switcher units, Xiao Technology will take over the manufacturing of the devices at their Suzhou, China manufacturing facility.
Xiao and Sensoray have worked together for the past 3 years on a separate project involving Sensoray's HD video capture and processing board (http://www.sensoray.com/products/2246data.htm), the 2246. According to Chongkun Yin, Xiao Technology's Executive Director, "The relationship with Sensoray has grown over the years and we are anxious to reach towards the future with them in our new designs. Sensoray was the logical choice for this design, after working with them and their 2246, we are confident in their abilities."
The HD/SDI 4X4 switcher is to be placed into Xiao Technology's latest video distribution systems due for release in the first quarter of 2009.
